About

I am currently the Associate Director and Senior Lecturer at the Common Core Office, the transdisciplinary undergraduate curriculum of The University of Hong Kong. My role is focused on higher education academic leadership and administration, and driving innovations in teaching and learning. As a Senior Fellow of Higher Education Advance, I am passionate about initiatives exploring transdisciplinary pedagogies around the intersections of gaming, storytelling, and digital and artificial intelligence technologies.

I received my PhD in the sociology of education and a Master of Applied Finance at the University of Queensland. My research interests include comparative and international education, youth aspirations and futures, the sociology of education, and transdisciplinarity in higher education. As a Taiwanese- Chinese Australian now living in Hong Kong and with a background in business banking, corporate learning and consulting, and entrepreneurship, I bring a multicultural and interdisciplinary perspective to my work.
